Here at the Portland Acupuncture Studio, the studio itself plays an important role in the treatment. I really wanted to create a space that was modern, neutral, and clean, but not too sterile or austere. The studio was designed with comfort and peacefulness in mind – like a temporary escape. It took me a while to finally decide on the perfect grey wall color. In the late afternoon, it glows with a lovely lavender hue to it. I also spent a lot of time considering how to limit off-gassing and exposure to volatile organic compounds. We chose zero to low VOC items wherever possible. And, I also wanted to share my love of some local artists and purveyors. I think the studio turned out perfectly. If you see something you like that I did not source, please contact me.
