Hello and welcome!
I’m happy to welcome you the Portland Acupuncture Studio blog, or PDX Acu Studio for short. If you are just stumbling on this for the first time, my name is Lee Hullender Rubin.
I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine specializing in women’s health, female pelvic/genital pain, and fertility. I am board certified in reproductive medicine, acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
I spent nearly ten years in the Seattle area working with thousands of people supporting their family-building goals with East Asian Medicine. This required working closely with them and their doctors.
It was inevitable that I would eventually direct an acupuncture program at one of the best clinics in the Seattle metro area. After more than five years, my experience there sparked an intense interest in how acupuncture and East Asian Medicine can improve reproduction and what research was needed.
This prompted moving to Portland to complete a post-doctoral fellowship and pursue more research training. After two years of training at Oregon Health and Science University and teaching at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, I’m excited to open my new acupuncture practice in the northeast of Portland.
This blog is where I will share news, the latest research, thoughts on East Asian Medicine, and other things that strike my interest. I plan to post at least once a week.
You can also follow me on twitter and like me on facebook.
Stay tuned for more posts, and in the meantime, add this blog to your personal blog manager for automatic notification of any updates. Thanks for checking in and email me at info at pdxacustudio dot com with any questions.
